The
sheriff's office in Tammany, Louisiana announced in a Facebook post
that a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of a sawn-off gun which
was cleverly disguised to resemble a toy using minions duct tape. Other
incriminating evidence found included heroin, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.
Both suspects
had outstanding warrants and were known to authorities as a result of a
November 2015 shooting incident where Flowers allegedly shot Meyers with
an AR-15 rifle.
