Election has advanced as FUTA students engage in what is called "electronic voting", just to fast track the voting process and avoid delays. Students are accredited and have to vote almost immediately.
Futarians are out at large although it’s not a lecture free day, but they are out to cast their vote for the candidate of their choice, with the candidates and their supporters going around soliciting for the votes of the Futarians.
Futarians are aimed at voting candidates who will represent their interest in the student union government.
The election is sheduled to hold with the period of 8am till 1pm but still in progress as at 4pm.
We managed to interview some students and they complained of:
1. Uncondusive Polling Centre
2. Time Management
3. Improper Planning
4. Candidates' name and profile not displaying on screen
5. Harassing of students
6. Fear and freedom to vote
Updates coming soon...
