Manchester City got back to winning ways with a 2-1 win at Bournemouth, thanks to goals from Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling.
City began the Premier League season with a win at newly promoted Brighton, before being held by Everton in their second game.
After falling behind to an excellent Charlie Daniels strike in the 13th minute, City created the better opportunities.
The Brazilian striker almost added a second from Benjamin Mendy’s cross but he couldn’t direct his effort on target.
In the second half Nicolas Otamendi headed against Bournemouth’s post and David Silva and substitute Sergio Aguero went close as City searched for a winner, while Josh King hit the post for Bournemouth.
The England international was then sent off for going into the crowd to celebrate his goal.
